What is Firecation? 

The concept of Firecation came about as most things do, when a couple of friends were out drinking.  One of them showed a video of a person who goes out into the mountains and cooks over fire.  They thought it would be great to have a couple of friends go away for the weekend away from work and families and just catch up, cook meat over a fire, and drink whisky.  Thus the concept of firecation was born. 

Over time, firecation has evolved but the core traditions and concept remains.  At its core, firecation allows for childhood friends to reconnect and enjoy a stress free weekend in the mountains.  Various traditions have formed over the trips including giving of gifts, themes, and games.
